But sadly this program does not seem to work on my system,Probably because it's so old and down below you can read the specifications of my computer.GFX: Club 3D Radeon HD 5770, 1GB GDDR5 128-bitImpatient aren't we ? Double posting does not help get a reply, and can just confuse thingsIt's all the luck of the draw, and if anyone thinks they can help.Better to just keep bumping the first post if it drops off the first page.I'm surprised a wheel of that vintage works with Win7 at all.Must be Monopoly$oft has done some updates to their controller driver. Most controllers need a driver/profiling software to get full functionality forThings like custom button assignments, etc.Not having your setup I'll just speculate and give some background info that may help you- I see the icon shows a controller rather than a wheel. The Z-axis goes to a 100%, and the Y-axis goes as far down as it can.Is there a way to fix this, to combine the two axis of the peddals together into one? Most modern steering wheel drivers have such an option if I'm correct, but my steering wheel is kind of old and the tech support for it stopped around 2004/2005 so I amThis picture shows the original driver from 2004 (I think it was 2004) for this steering wheel, and in it you see the "Pedal mode" function in which you can choose to seperate them or combine them. But the control panel for the steering wheel does not show any option of that kind. The picture shows what happens after you reset the controls of the steering wheel to default, and then moved either the steering wheel (X-axis) or one of the peddals. But I read on the Farming Simulator 2013 FAQ on their website that I had to combine the two peddals axis' into one Y axis. No amount of calibration (asFar as I know) can fix this. This is unfortunately complicated in many recent games that default to the Monopoly$oft XBOX controller.- In this case you can try assigning the wheel, buttons, pedals to the keyboard commands insteadThe profiling software comes into it's own when the game will not allow you toConfigure the wheel/controller in the games settings. One thing to be careful of with controllers/wheels is not to push the pedals or be turning the wheelWhile the game is loading as this can throw the axis off center. With my controller I sometimes have to madly flick and release the stick before loading a gameTo make sure it is centered. If the game recognises the Wheel/controller,It should allow you to use whatever wheel/controller setup options it has. These are the games that are more likely to combine pedals. So, that brings us to the games control setup options.
![]() ![]() Old Usb Steering Wheels Full Functionality ForThingsI want to thank you for the long answer and the time you put into it.Now I can configure the settings of the buttons and controls on my steering wheel just fine. I found out about the split axis after I posted the first question. I reformed my question as my old question wasn't correct. Best web page software for macBut for some games you need to combine the two peddal axis' to makeIt work like you want to. There is nothing wrong with the steering wheel and peddals as it worked okay for games like Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed. Contra pressure it seems, on the left peddal which I mapped to beThe "throttle" for the vehicles in that games controls options. Therefore I go backwards, unless I put a bit. It might also be that it goes backwards because of the Y-axis that goes completely down in the box. Because it is starting on 100%, when I tell Farming Simulator 2013 in the controls options to map "reverse" to the left peddal, the game thinks I am pressing the peddal because the computer gives outA 100% signal for that peddal to the game. ![]() The R Joystick pushed fwd/back is Z rotation/axis and will act as a combined throttle/break,But if I select the Left Joystick Y axis it comes up W/S. Both pedals worked independently anyway, but thatMay be because the settings have been assigned in the game vs using a custom profile.I just found that the game (edit - the site bot does not like the criminal orginisation name M-fia,So I'll edit it for them) M-fia has an option to combine in the game setting, so I'll try that on the game pad.EDIT - Here's what M-fia tells me in the games controller setup when using the game pad. You seem to have a good command of the tools you have available, and as I mentioned, I am surprised you have done as well as you have without there being any- There is a generic controller software out in the either, but I don't recall the name atm.You can't really combine Y & Z because they are different planes, and also function differently.I don't really fully understand the difference between how the two options function. This is the first time I've delved into the mysteries of Z axis vs Y axis (why I like forums).I found with the game FlatOut 2 the Throttle is designated as Y axis Left and,With a pad or joystick it's easy enough to combine as the movement starts from the center,But I'm not sure how it's done on pedals.- There is an option in the Logitech profiling software to use combined pedals, but I just tried it inThree games and it didn't make a difference.
